Reception Area

Welcome to the Hollyberry Animal Hospital Facility. As you arrive, you and your pet will be greeted and checked-in by our friendly and helpful assistant, Angela. She is also available to answer your questions on the phone, update on your pet's condition and make appointments.

Examination Room

In our Examination Room patients are examined, treated for minor ailments, given shots, etc. The exam rooms are quite large, which allows us to examine larger dogs on the floor, where they seem to be more relaxed and comfortable.

The more relaxed and comfortable the pet is during the exam, the less stressful is the visit for pet, owner and the vet.

Examination Room

We provide an open, caring facility for our clients. For the convenience of pet owners, veterinarians and staff, our examination rooms have windows so that pets can be viewed for close observation at all times.

Radiology

X-rays allow us to visualize internal structures. Many diseases can be diagnosed with the use of x-rays including bone fractures, heart disease, and some abdominal masses.

Hollyberry Animal Hospital has a complete x-ray facility. Diagnostic imaging allows our veterinarian to properly evaluate your pet's medical condition in a quick and painless manner.

Surgery

The surgery table is heated to help maintain proper body temperature during long exploratory surgeries for critical patients. It also benefits routine surgery patients such as spays.

In this sterile environment, the heart rate and respiration are monitored throughout the procedure.

ICU Recovery Area

The ICU cages are custom designed for the comfort of the patients. All cages are individually heated for the patients that are recovering from surgery or that are critically ill. We also have an oxygen treatment cage for small dogs, cats and birds.

The avian treatment cage is heated on both top and bottom so perching birds are comfortable. Multilevel perches are available. The cage can be equipped with oxygen and nebulizers for sick birds. The small mammal and reptile cage has extra small spaces between bars to prevent escape.

Treatment Room

The Treatment Room of the hospital serves as the "hub" of our facility. It is in this area of the hospital where we perform laboratory testing and medical procedures. Some of those procedures include dental cleaning and surgery preparation. This room is designed for patient comfort and safety and is fully equipped to handle any emergency that may arrive.

Hannah and Scooby are demonstrating our compuerized lift that aids in the treatment of larger animals.

Cat Boarding

This room contains the cages for the cats.
It is a small room, with cages on one wall only, so the cats do not see each other and get upset. The cages are not stainless steel because it is cold and creates noise when the animal moves.

Dog Boarding

These areas are climate controlled. Dogs are all boarded with runs with resting benches that elevate them off of the concrete. In the K-9 boarding area, the kennels are designed with a special privacy panel in the front so a shy or timid dog doesn't feel threatened by another dog walking past. Our ventilation system provides continuous air exchange to control temperature and odor.

Exercise Area

This is a section of our outdoor exercise area. Our large backyard allows pets who board with us to have their "play-time" outdoors. Our boarded pets are exercised a minimum of three times daily.
